I've decided I REALLY like how this Lions team plays. I'll be cheering for them hard this season.

Yeah, I think the Packers and Vikings will both be tough teams. I just really love the way the Lions play, they've got some serious toughness and it's a lot of fun to watch. That combined with Stafford playing like he is, and I really enjoy watching them.

I like the Packers & Vikings too but don't trust Bradford in the long run.

They might as well take a bye the rest of the year if they are going to play like they did yesterday.
Well...If they lose to Carson next week...
Can't be an accident waiting to happen if you don't show up. I don't think we would have beaten the Jets or Bengals last week. I'm all for changing our uniforms to hot pink and lavender. America's No Shows.

Re: Week 2 Matchups and Games Discussion
I still can´t believe the Giants´FO thought they´d contend ( ) with a banged-up Brandon Marshall, a historically bad O-line and a non-existent running game.
Manning fits to their game right now but he doesn´t have any help tbh.
At least this season will open their eyes - 90% of the offense won´t wear the blue jersey next season...

It's weird. Our teams are clones of each other. Good defenses. Bad Oline. Little to no offense most weeks.

But the Seahawks are at least in a bad division, that´s a big advantage for your team...

Not only the front office... but all the experts and crickets in the leering press also did. They were almost a unanimous pick to win the division in most publications I read before the season.

That´s really ridiculous.
Last year the Giants played above their actual level and they had a solid schedule as well so reaching the postseason was a surprise tbh (thanks to OBJ and that top-notch defense).
But they lost their games because of those two extremely weak spots (O-line, running game) and what did they do - sign another wideout and go for two TE´s (Engram´s a stud though).
I would accept a bad season but only if they would´ve done anything to upgrade the well known weak spots. But right now, this is a mess and I don´t want to think about the upcoming games @Philly and Tampa...

I can tell you that down here in the Great State, I read very little that didn't have the Giants winning the division. The World Wide Leader did... Fox did... Sporting News did... it was like every publication and sports outlet couldn't stop falling all over themselves about what they did in free agency and the draft to give Eli more weapons. But I know I mentioned the fact that the O-Line was still a problem in multiple posts as did others. Of course I don't get paid millions to yell loud and pontificate like those blowhards.
Won't either.

I blame the guy who drafted him. Just shoving a TEAM MATE by Odell is just another classless act and another reason why the Giants won't do **** this year.

Re: Week 2 Matchups and Games Discussion
I dont think the Giants should be shy about giving youth a shot here and folding up.. the division doesnt look as good as it did last year, but I think the Eagles are primed and ready to run the division for the future, while the Cowboys seem more like the present - though I do expect Dak to backslide some this year, with a year of tape to strategize with.
Skins and Giants are in this really tough limbo, of being anywhere in the 6 to 10 win range. The difference between the two is that the Skins are more salvageable IMO, because Cousins is younger and he could still gel with younger/prime players like Pryor, Crowder, Reed, and Doctson. I think they are a couple good draft picks away from being a consistent 10 win team. Meanwhile the Giants are based mostly on defense and have a bottom 5 OL.. if I'm them, shop Eli to Jax and Coughlin in the offseason, draft Josh Rosen to take over and gel with OBJ/Engram/Shepard, and use as much capspace and early picks to draft an OL, fast. If you hire an offensive mind like McAdoo, best thing you can do is give him the tools to succeed, and Reese simply didnt do that. He gave Spags the tools.
