I like Baldwin a lot but Sammy Watkins has an elite pedigree.. he's exactly, IMO, like Amari Cooper who can win 50/50, get open in the short and intermediate. But the Rams are all about ball control and seem to be fine using Watkins as a decoy most of the time right now. I was reading Andy Benoit on twitter (a fantastic football junkie follow, btw) and he was detailing how the Rams love using Watkins to pull safeties onto the side of the field they want him to, and then having guys like Kupp, Higbee, Gurley, and Woods float to that side of the field.

I think McVay is playing it right. Not using Watkins a ton but winning games, so its hard for Watkins to complain. Pay the man in the offseason (didnt give up a 2nd for nothing) and then build a playbook that allows him to shine. I'm desperately trying to acquire Watkins in dynasty/keeper leagues right now for this reason.

That's great & all but the guy doesn't consistently perform (Even in Buffalo). Plus he's been injury prone. Give me Baldwin over him any day. One of the best/most consistent slot guys in the league.

Sammy averages more yards per game than Baldwin through their careers. TDs are similar per year despite Sammy missing more games. And Baldwin has always had a better QB.

Baldwin has health over Sammy, but thats about it

Sorry. I think Sammy Watkins sucks and I just don't like Baldwin.

I wouldn't give either one of them a mop job on my team. Both are bums.

But for the sake of this conversation, I would have to go with Baldwin.

I hope you're not serious. Jason Peters is one of the most respected players in the league. Wishing injury on an opponent is wrong. His career is probably over at his age, given the injury.

Don't care what you think. I hate all things Egals and Redskins since 1970 and don't have one ounce of respect for them. Always will. Get used to it.

therealbig3 wrote:Come on, Cam Newton and Matt Ryan actually won MVPs and led their teams to the SB. They didn't win, but they were straight up dominant players that were the franchise cornerstones for their team. Wilson won a SB as a game manager on a team that depended way more on their defense. He has never been a legitimate MVP candidate, because it's obvious that he's just not that level of player. Those are just facts.

Guys like Newton, Ryan, and Carr have proven WAY more as franchise QBs than Wilson has. I really can't comprehend how anyone could believe otherwise.

I need my QB to be a leader.

This is not a leader.
