Does anyone here play daily fantasy sports and sports bet. Have you had any success in sports betting by using your dfs models and strategy? Former dfs king is experimenting in sports betting using his dfs models and the results are astonishing but the sample size is still small. He has been posting the picks publicly in his google forum since May 26th and as today he is sitting at 49-20-1 (70%) record and these picks are not big favorites, the avg odd of each play is 2.03.

I tried daily fantasy a while back and it seems like you always have the winning feeling because the payout in each contests goes deep but only small amount, so its like playing scratch tickets. You win and give it right back. The rake is also high. I do however sports bet and i find dfs completely different from sports betting.

Does anyone do both? share your thoughts.

If you sports bet, his google group is a good source to follow for some tips. He doesn't post tips as much as like but perhaps that is the reason behind his success. I don't have the discipline to play only few games each week. I would bet 50 games in a week while this guy has bet only 70 games in almost 5 months!

*ALERT: The model also favors NY Yankees today in baseball, good enough for 2 units but I am going to sit that one out. My model has been inefficient with yankees games all season, 2 wins and 9 losses in games involving the yankees.
