Dude couldn't get any separation last season. If I'm a team on the come up I'm looking for younger talent, someone along the lines of Allen Robinson or Landry, heck I'd even pursue Sammy Watkins depending on the price tag.

I don't think you'll have to worry about trading for him.

He's still owed a lot of guaranteed money, no?

At this point, he's not worth trading for. No takers (Well maybe a moron like Marvin Lewis & the Bengals will bite). But, Dallas is pretty much stuck with him at the present moment.

I got in many arguments the past few years with fellow Cowboy fans. I wanted to trade or get rid of DEz 4 years ago. Now we are stuck with him. If anyone is in their right mind, they won't go after DEZ. IMHO opinion, he isn't even worth the 8.75 million the Cowboys are asking from him going into next year. If I am GM, I just cut Dez, post June 1st and sign Allen Robinson.

He'll either be cut or his deal will be redone. If it's redone, then he won't be available.

I really think that if the Cowboys find a WR in the draft they like, Dez will be gone. Stephen's comments a few weeks ago sure sounded like someone who wasn't messing around... Daddy be damned.

If they don't or can't trade him, I hope they just cut the bum. Dez isn't even a top 20 wr anymore, but gets top wr $$$$$$$. Another great contract Jerry, thanks.

I would have been right there in your corner on that one. I think when you have a star at a position that is easily replaceable and they have a tendency to difficult or diva personality, you get out as soon as their value has peaked. I don't care who they are. I've watched this game long enough to know that the paying money to player like that doesn't make them better. Age doesn't mature them. I'd have had zero attachment to him and like you said, 4 years ago would have been the perfect time to cut bait.

In fact, let me add to that. Now that the Steelers are on the hook for 17 million to AB, I'd be quietly listening to offers and if I can get a 1st rounder plus another pick or a quality player along with it, he's gone. They still score when he is out of the lineup. They have a QB that has historically made WRs better than they actually are. Trade him now, just like the Cowboys should have traded Dez.

No way he's available for a small haul, but if he were, OAK would be interested. We're used to headaches (Crabtree) but prefer more productive ones

I could see teams like the Bengals, Browns and possibly the titans in the mix. But not for 16.5 million.

Depends on their draft and free agency but the 49ers and (I dont know why) the Ravens are a true possibility IMO.

It depends on the value in general, if he´s available for a mid/late pick I guess there´s plenty of interest.

I'd prefer us to pursue AJ Green.
I prefer not to have Dez Bryant, not because his salary, but because he seems to be on a decline.

I'm telling y'all... he won't be traded. He will either be with the Cowboys at a reduced cap impact or he will be released. Save your draft picks.

I just have the feeling Dez won't accept a pay cut. Just my feeling.

Then he will be gone.

So there is a chance we could take a smaller salary cap hit and just say adios and get nothing in return.

He's not tradable. Why would anyone do a deal knowing they can get him on the open market at a price of their choosing?

If he is serious about reestablishing his value, it would make sense to redo his contract with the Cowboys.

I don't think Dez would make it in that league either,
