How many MVPs did your boys Palmer, Leinart, Sanchez, and Barkley win?

Exactly. As the cap increases, so do player salaries. Ryan is worth every penny.

Meh...He's old. Even if we sign him, I highly doubt he would make the team out of training camp. Not a fan.

A "Visit" doesn't mean much, e.g. Kaepernick.

A non visit would mean a lot to me. And as he doesn't visit Dallas, it would mean a lot. Dude is done.

This is just a depth/camp signing if anything. I doubt there is much guaranteed money involved. The WR core is currently Baldwin/Lockett/Jaron Brown as the starters with a bunch of unknowns (1st & 2nd year players mostly) behind them.

You would hope not... because if he actually makes the roster that may say a lot about your depth.

I'm going to put the odds of Marshall making the squad at .5... and taking the under.

Your Mariners are doing well Cactus, I know you don't care but there it is.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Good for them. :pityfool:

I actually have many other things I'm into at the moment.

1. The NBA Finals.

2. Followed by the World Cup which gets underway in 2 weeks.

Then before you know it, Training Camp will startup again. So you see...I've got more than enough things to keep me preoccupied atm. Baseball ain't one of them.

What do you think about Dez tweeting that he wants to come to the Niners?

They still need a red zone threat, which Dez undoubtedly provides. But is he willing to take a much reduced role on a team that could struggle a bit as it finds its way? Tough call there.

I think the Niners are waiting to see what their current guys can do and to let the market depress Dez's value so much that they can offer him a deal that is easy to cut if Dez doesn't fit in.

Read somewhere here in the Dallas area that the Niners were pretty happy with Garçon and Goodwin and really like the kid the drafted in the second round (name escapes me)... and that SF was unlikely to go after Dez. Once again - that came from local Dallas scribes so I don’t have much feel for the West Coast perception.

Take a peek at the Stanley Cup finals. They have been terrific so far.
