Tyrod Taylor traded to Cleveland

Cleveland has traded for Tyrod Taylor from Buffalo.
Cleveland gives up a 3rd round draft pick for the QB that Buffalo didn't want anyways.

Saturated market for QBs too. Definitely an overpay, but I'm a huge T-Mobile fan. Great at protecting the ball, and having a mobile QB always gives runners more room to run. Also, not having to negotiate a salary as the Browns GM is likely a huge selling point to this. Imagine poor Dorsey running up to agents, asking if they want to play for the Browns. Must be a helluva premium at this point in time. This erases that.

Tyrod Taylor is a good bridge QB.

The draft strategy for Cleveland is pretty much set...take Barkley at one, and a qb at 4 who sits out a year. They have plenty of money and picks to sure up that o-line and defense afterwards.

terrible trade for the Browns, they are just cursed. This was a total overpay for a guy the Bills didnt even want.

More than a bridge QB really. Tyrod is the ultimate game manager/RB enhancer.

Despite his inaccuracy, very low TOs and the running threat opens up the option/playaction very nicely. I think this trade points towards Barkley going #1.. with an outside shot of the Browns skipping a QB in the top 5 altogether.

I really REALLY hope trading for Taylor means the Browns will select a QB (Darnold) with the 1st pick.

The Giants need Barkley (if they won’t take him with the #2 I‘ll riot)

I don't see how Cleveland bypasses Barkley. I see them taking Barkley & then Mayfield at 4. Scot McCloughan is running their draft. He loves Baker. I think they draft him.

I won’t draft any QB in the 1st Rd but I think the Giants will if Barkley is off the board.

Nelson would be a great addition, same like Chubb.

I would love it, if you didn't sign Norwell & instead took Nelson. We could really use a good Guard. :wink:
