Good. Send him his jacket in the mail and don't even mention him at the ceremony.

I suppose this is just one more sad attempt at being an attention whore? He has that skill down to a TO

Well considering he made around 80 million during his career and is now broke, he was never prone too much towards common sense.

Agreed. His decision making has never been his strong suit...Wish he didn't let his ego get in the way, he would have delivered one hell of a speech.

He's not the first player to be overlooked... He's being a petty Mitch.

Always gonna do his own thing. Thought it was pretty cool that he wanted to do it at his college

Now the NFL's not even gonna mention him at their event, deciding that the high road isn't good enough for them either.

Eh TO is all about himself so no big deal , if he wanted to do one at his college as well fine but yea TO is allways been about himself and the spotlight only on him .

Oh definitely.

My comment is more about how the NFL, in lieu of taking the high road, seemed to do something just as petty. Between that and the clearly biased "compromise" with the anthem, I'm starting to see some parallels with NFL leadership and other troubling events that are causing my interest to wane a little. I could be looking too deep into it I guess..

If there's one thing you can count on, it's the NFL making the wrong choice and exacerbating even the most benign situation.

It’s stupid to be sure, but the NFL has a high road option. Time to see if the NFL gets that they are supposed to be the big person here

You do realize that the NFL doesn’t “run” the Pro Football Hall of Fame, don’t you? It’s a completely separate entity and enterprise. It’s no different than the Baseball or Basketball HoF’s. It’s done that way for a reason. The NFL has no option here. Period.

And - T.O. isn't doing this for anyone other than T.O. Period.

All that does is transfer the blame.. whoever is running the HoF situation, they are taking the low road along with TO. Anyone paying attention knows that TO is an ass, and instead of doing the classy thing (T.O. couldnt be with us today, maybe with a little shade like "but we're happy that he eventually got in") they decide to be petty. Its slowly becoming the way things work these days, and it sucks.
