Colin Cowherd says Vikings will fall off

Post#1 » by carson33 » Wed Jul 11, 2018 10:42 pm

I like him but I find what he said about the Vikings foolish

Kirk Cousins is a clear upgrade, they're getting Dalvin Cook back, and their defense which was already the best in the league got better by signing Sheldon Richardson. The Vikings have the best roster in football.

From a torn ACL. The track record of RBs returning from that injury isn’t good.

Not saying they won’t be good, but I see a lot of Viking fans excited about getting Cook back. They’ve been spoiled by AP’s miraculous ACL recovery.

I disagree, I think the Vikings will repeat as NFC North division champs. Come on Collin!

2nd best defense in the league. Jags.

Also, got blasted for 38 in the NFC Championship.

No clue. NFL is all about injuries these days.

Vikings will soon see why the Redskins didn’t wanna pay Kirk Cousins...

He put up stats, but wasn’t a consistent playmaker, and never seemed to have the intangibles that would win you the games you needed

Colin Cowherd is a blowhard.

That is all.

I suppose I could have tried to be a bit more subtle...

I don't think they will "fall off", but I don't think that they will have as good a record as last year (10-12 wins this year), and while on paper Cousins is an upgrade over Keenum, if you watched Case last year he was better than Cousins.

I don't think it's certain that Cousins will be better for the Vikes.

But the team is way too talented to "fall off".

The Vikings have a pretty track record with it. Robert Smith tore an ACL and came back to lead the NFL in rushing, and Terry Allen came back pretty although that's starting to be long time ago now. I suppose it usually takes a couple season though, unlike AP.

Yeah it is always very difficult to repeat as a 12+ win team since you gotta play other division winners but there is no reason to believe they will have less than double digit wins.

Their offensive line scares me more than anything.

Minnesota has a projected win total of over or under 10 wins.
That number is reasonable and I won't be surprised if they surpass 10 wins. Colin Cowherd being himself as usual.

Can't believe people pay Colin Cowherd to speak. Like... they pay him real money to form thoughts and say them... out loud.

Quite impressive, if you stop and think about it. He tricked the hell out of those people.

I agree I am sure it will take Cousins a year to adjust. I say they go 8-8 or 9-7.

This game tonight reminded me of this thread. They also play the Eagles next week, so unless they can stop the Rams offense, they're going to really be behind the 8 ball early. That game against Buffalo is one you absolutely can't let get away from you when you have a schedule like that ahead of you.
