Player wise he's worth it if he keeps progressing but he has some emotional and anger issues that I'd be a bit weary of.

That's a big investment but he's worth it. As long as he stays healthy he's going to produce and I believe the off the field concerns won't be a concern proceeding forward.

On the other hand, Aaron Donald´s upcoming contract ($22M/yr?!) refers only on his on-field skills.

Signing Mack to $22-$24 million per season is going to contribute to handicapping the Oakland Raiders.

Mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, we have Goff "cheap" for the next three years (his 5th year option will be quite a bit more than he's making now though, but still pretty cheap for a QB).

So hopefully they frontload the contract since we have so much cap space the next two/three years.

IMO Mack should have signed his contract first (sounds like Donald will be getting done by the end of the week) - the Raiders can easily point out that Donald is a significantly better player, so waiting on Donald may not have been his smartest option - although if the Raiders don't pay him, someone else will.
