There is a part of me expecting a blow out TBH.
But there's a more rational part of me that says we're on the road, on a late Monday night game where weird things happen, playing a team with a new coach - and add in that nobody will really expect them to win.
And on top of that, the Rams starters barely played in preseason - I'm expecting some rust.
And while it's somewhat logical to expect the Raiders defense to be bad, their offense could be anywhere from top 5 to bottom 10 or anywhere in between. No clue what to expect.

Houston @ New England
Kansas City @ LA Chargers
Probably the only two matchups that I find intriguing from a competitive standpoint. Alot of different storylines going into this week though...OBJ vs. Ramsey, Jimmy G vs. Cousins (high profile qb's in new places), which Foles will show up, how will Luck fare in his first full game in over a year, ect. Should be a fun weekend.

At first I thought you were saying you expected a blowout in the Thursday night game and was trying to decide by who. That Monday night game isn't that late on the west coast though. 8:20 pm PT isn't really that late, though I guess all their preseason games were earlier.
It would really be nice to see SD beat KC in week one. SD has gotten off to terrible starts the last few years...seems like forever, and the worst start might be when they played KC in week 1 a couple years ago and had a 21-3 lead going into halftime but Keenan Allen got injured near the end of the first half (out for season of course) and it deflated them, and come out flat after halftime, but still go up 24-3, and then are up 27-10 in the 4th.
But then of course KC scores to cut it to 7 with 3 minutes left, kick it off to the SD 25 and they try to run out the clock running the ball when their running game sucks. Then their rookie punter Drew Kaser punts it 17 yards (reminiscent of rookie fg kicker YoungHoe Koo getting a trying FG blocked in the first week last year and missing a GW FG in week 2)....
Of course KC immediately drives, and scores and wins in OT, and their rookie punter keeps having miscues in crucial game situations, botching FG holds and punts to cost them other game and the injuries pile up.

Going to stick with Redzone this week. No need to watch the Denver game.
I'm looking forward to Thursdays game.

Lmfao. Denver is going to win. They are much better than last year. If I was a Seahawks fan I’d avoid watching as well. No need to see my team crushed.

Jeez, man. Take it easy.
I've already declared this game a loss. It's fine. It's not our year.

Not only the Thursday game. I can't wait to see Maholmes. Threw 89 yard T.D. that was all air in preseason. This kid has a bigger arm than Elway and Favre. If the kid is for real, I expect Kansas City to be the highest scoring team in the NFL this season and easily a top 3 offense barring injury of course.

With the way that defense played this preseason, I expect Kansas City is be playing a lot of catchup. Mahomes could very easily top 4,000+ passing yards and 30+ tds, with another 500+ yards on the ground. If I didn't have such a man crush on Watson, I would have targeted him in all my fantasy leagues.

Be a good test for the Chargers pass rushers and secondary which are both finally actually good.

How has the Giants Oline looked? More specifically Will Hernandez? I was really hoping that the Hawks would take him during the draft.

Slightly concerned that we might be a bit too beat up for opening night. Gunna have to make it another ugly one.

They won´t be top 10 but they´ll be significantly better than the last years (losing Pugh and Richburg still hurts a bit though).
Will Hernandez is a stud IMO. He´s the type of player Gettleman loves, Manning will have much more time to distribute.
