This thread will show off some older players from the days of yesteryear.

Player #1: Billy "White Shoes" Johnson. He was an electrifying return man who occasionally made a splashy play on offense. It's a shame that he played in such a stodgy era; if he had come along even 6 or 7 years later, after Air Coryell and the West Coast offenses had really spread, he would've been much more effectively utilized on offense. But regardless, White Shoes had some great plays and one trademark dance.

I'm hoping to finish a Daryle Lamonica video at some point soon. The Mad Bomber was a great QB that has been forgotten by time.

The NFL was a better place with the Houston Oilers. That was a great video, PC.

Indeed. Hopefully it's really, really hot where Bud Adams is now.

Funny how many of those highlights are against the Browns. Love his celebration dance.

FWIW, a lot of them were against the Bengals, not the Browns. At this time, the Bengals were coached by the great Paul Brown, who decided that the Bengal's uniforms were to be flat-out rip offs of the Browns classic uniforms. I'm going to assume that this was because he wanted to spite Art Modell.

I'll post the write up later. But in short, this guy, not Merlin Olsen or Joe Greene or Bob Lilly, was the best DT of the decade.
