He signed a 2 year 70 mill extension over the weekend that takes him through the 2021 season.

Turns out being just a signing bonus, bumping his salary from 15 to 23 mill for 2019.

The Patriots can't place a franchise tag or transition tag per rapoport.

This is going to be a hot topic through 2019.

If NE doesn't play well, it will be a discussion.

If they do play well, it will still be a hot topic since his legacy is set in stone. He could go wherever he wants.

Imo, I feel like at least 20 teams would be willing to offer huge money for 2 years. If he leaves it would only be because NE doesn't bring him back.

NE isn't just gonna let him go. Who is his replacement gonna be?

I see him playing for a couple more seasons. He'll retire a Patriot.

Patriots will win their annual 12+ games and he'll be back again for another season. Nothing to discuss here.

He will remain with the Patriots. Until he is noticeable hurting the team he’s they’re best option.

those are some really strange terms, there must be some sort of plan in place

hasn't he said he wants to play until he's 45 or something? it would be wild for him to play for anyone else but if the patriots really don't want him (which would also be wild) then he'll end up somewhere
