Yes, protecting the kicker is the purpose. No reason for them to even be touch during the process.
They're focused on their target and not expecting to ever be touched.

The Saints are -6.5 at home vs. the Texans and the Raiders are +3 at home against Denver.

I like the Saints and & Broncos

I like the Saints...I normally don't like to lay a lot of points, particularly against a good team, but the Saints were killing people last year, are at home, it's under a td, and they are mad about the way they went out in the playoffs last year. I think they will be very focused and be hard to stop.

I picked the Raiders, but that was before the whole AB thing....and I hate to change my picks, because it always bites me, but I would lean Denver. If the spread is really +3 for the Raiders then I definitely should change it then because when I made the pick earlier in the week they were -2.5...that's a big point swing. With their D, all the Broncos have to do is pound the ball, play good D, and Flacco can manage the game fine, so I'll take Denver.

So as I mentioned, I HATE changing my pick because it always bites me, but I changed it from Raiders to Broncos in the competition after seeing this, and yes, I should have stuck with my initial cut. Never fails. I think I've changed picks like 10x over the last 2 years and week 1 here, and it's probably only been a good move twice.

Wow The Raiders shocked me how good they were last night, thought it would be a easy win for Denver though but Carr was a man possessed. I think Denver and Oakland are the two weeker teams in the AFC West though. Can't see how one of them are better than Kansas City or The Chargers.

I'd be surprised if this Patriots lost more than 2 games this season. This might be the most loaded team Brady has had in years.

You pretty much have to throw when you are down 20-0 in the first half.

Eh I still think they abandoned the run far too early. **** their lucky JuJu didn't get seriously injured in garbage time because they refused to run the ball even when the game was over...
