Chicago needs offense in the worst way. It's a shame a defense that good can't get no support.

Very bad.
The several text messages I received from multiple people said the same. Oh, well.

To think they passed up both Mahomes & Watson for Trubisky.

something needs to be done, the starting offenses need to play some snaps in the preseason. Last night was a bad look for the NFL. They cant just take their viewers for granted forever. They need to ensure we get a good product each week of weeks 1-16.

Chicago needs to commit to Montgomery moving forward. This whole three way backfield split isn't doing anyone favors.

Bears will be fine. They may regress a bit because they probably surprised some people last year going 12-4 and they played poorly last night but I give credit to the Packers defense.

Packers defense was good but Nagy's playcalling was beyond putrid. 52 pass plays (most of which were dink and dunks) to 13 run plays, lining up Patterson in the backfield on a crucial 3rd and short, and only giving one of your best playmakers 7 touches...there are no excuses for that. He was trying to get cute with his playcalling and personnel, should have just stuck to the fundamentals.

Mike Davis should be used only as a goal line back

I agree. They should have run more but they were only averaging a little over 3 yards a carry so it wasn't working too well either.

He's actually not bad in space. The guy can make people miss. He's got wiggle. But yeah...Montgomery & Cohen should get the majority of the load.

Spoiler:
Cohen Fantasy owner here.

Yeah, I think 90% of the league wishes they had Mahomes right now. I think only Philly and possibly Dallas are the only two teams happy with their guy.

Bears can't win on that defense alone now matter how good it is

Dallas would take Mahomes over Prescott every day of the week.

A strong rumor at the time was that had Mahomes been available in the back-end of the 1st round, John Schneider & the Seahawks would have given strong consideration to drafting him as well. To groom behind Wilson.
