I have never seen a quarterback who has the perfect combination of accuracy, arm strength, and pocket passing. His athletic ability is extraordinary and his ability to throw no-look passes sets him apart from any QB in history. I would have to say we are probably witnessing the best QB in NFL history.

From a pure talent perspective he's the leader. Rodgers can somewhat compete with him based on skill not athleticism.

Imo Watson, Wilson & Lamar Jackson are in that next tier with a combination of Athleticism & skill that can make spectacular **** happen at any time.

I'm a big fan of ARod, with the 49ers had drafted him.

But Mahomes has a ridiculous arm. Barring injury, he'll smash ARod's records and that of just about anyone else.

Rodgers made guys like Jordy Nelson pro bowlers with those back shoulder throws against tight coverage. Mahomes will throw comet balls right through the proverbial tight windows in the zone. In other words, he'll try throws that most other QBs, even some of the all-time greats, won't even try. That's why they compare him as a transformational players to someone like Steph Curry taking some ridiculous shots and making them.

His first 2 years have been better than anyone else.

Hard to say no, he's a helluva QB to be so young. It's almost scary. Also makes you think, just how the hell did Kingsbury manage to not win **** in college with such a devastating offensive weapon? Mahomes is the next Brady of the AFC, just hope Watson is the Manning and he manages to snag one or two in his career.

Rodgers athleticism when he was younger is getting a little underrated in this thread, I remember it being almost exactly like Mahomes where it's unfair that a guy who's already 10/10 level as a thrower can rush and improvise out of the pocket like that

Being from cali. Aaron and Tom were next level for sure. But i always go old school john elway. Arm talent. Gun slinger. Escapability speed. Accuracy. Pressure proven.

Pretty hard to argue after his first two full seasons.
