Can the Lions screw up the third pick?

So the Lions pretty much are in the drivers seat at 3 with a hand full of teams wanting a QB. But its the Lions... So I'm kinda thinking they shock the world by moving up to 1 and take Chase Young. Swapping with Cincy still pretty much guarantees them Burrow.

You heard it here first.

Miami would offer 5 and 18 with more future picks to the redskins for the #2 pick if that were the case. If the Bengals prefer Tua, it wouldn’t be that bad though, and Chase Young would do amazing things for the Lions, he’s a generational talent.

Aren't the Bengals officially documented as NOT going to trade the 1st pick not for nothing?

Outside of Barry Sanders, what have the Lions done right over the past 3 decades?

If I'm Detroit, which I'm glad I'm not, I trade their number 3 pick unless they are looking to replace Stafford.

Lions cannot take a cb at this pick, it's too high. They need to trade this pick

I heard on a podcast that the Lions haven't taken a CB in the first round in like 20+ years...longest for any NFL team. I'm with you though. I would trade it all day or else take Tua....

They should try and trade with the Dolphins or Chargers.

Stupid question. Of course the Lions will screw it up. Chase Young will be on the board at 3 and they'll draft a wide receiver, or maybe a fullback, instead.

You know. I know it.

Lions announced they are taking offers for their #3 pick. I wonder how many teams will want to move up to get one of the QB's.
