You look at this team this year they are going to be god awful I predict 1-15 or 2-14. They may not even win a game. I think Carolina definitely gets Trevor in next years draft. I mean at least he’s a better qb then overrated newton.

I’ll take Curtis Samuel off their hands

I think the Panthers are bad defensively, but I'd bet money they win more than one game. Please. The Chargers are horrible and so Isn't Washington. I can see either one of them taking a Qb considering their QB situations. And if the Raiders are smart they should want to be players as well. Carr sucks so bad I can't see them going anywhere with him.

Chargers actually have a stacked roster. Only problem is Tyrod Taylor is starting for them. But no way they end up with the number one pick. They're too talented.

They just lost their safety for the year, they are so injury prone to go along with it and i have to admit they seem to be the most snake bitten team in the NFL the past 5 years. At least they got rid of that washed up used car salesman and shipped his ass to the Colts.

If you think chargers are getting the first pick you know nothing about football.

I think panthers win 4-5 games to avoid first pick. new york teams have a good shot, would be interesting to see what they would do since they have young qbs

The Vikings might also have a dog in that cat race.

can you not bet on who will get the #1 pick? i can't find any odds for it, would be interesting to see who people think is the favorite and how it changes throughout the year

If they’re that bad, then sure. I don’t think they’ll be the worst team though and I certainly don’t support tanking.

Now that the season is starting to take shape a bit, with the Jet, Giants, Bengals already taking their young QB's of the future, Denver looks like the team in best position to tank and get Trevor Lawrence.

Come on Vikings. Give me a complete tank for the rest of the season, land Trevor, and get rid of Zimmer and Spielman. That is the perfect offseason for the Vikes. If that doesnt happen, grab Trey Lance and call it a day.

That team is far too talented to finish with a bottom 5 record. They should have beaten the Hawks & likely the Titans as well (3-2 v. 1-4).

Can you let a man dream please haha. Youre over here coming on a decade of Russell Wilson as your QB. Here is what the Vikings have delt with at QB since the freaking Dante Culpepper years.

Brad Johnson, Tavaris Jackson, Gus Ferotte, 1 good year of Bret Favre, Joe freaking Webb, Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel, Teddy Checkdown Bridewater, Sam Bradford, Case Keenum, Kirk Cousins.

That is 15 years worth of football and all there is to show for it, 1 good year from a 40 year old Favre, and 1 good year from Case Keenum. Let a man dream that his team finally gets a franchise QB.

I understand. But here's the thing, there's really no need to tank in Football (NFL). This isn't the NBA.

You don't need a top 5 pick (or have the #1 pick to land a franchise QB). Just look back & see where some of the top QB's (today) were actually drafted.

1. Mahomes- 10th overall
2. Rodgers- 24th overall
3. Wilson- 75th overall (3rd Round)
4. Lamar Jackson- 32nd overall (Last pick of the 1st round)
5. Brady- 6th Round
6. Brees- 2nd Round

So clearly, you don't need to tank to land one. You just have to have good scouting & be smart when picking.

Haha thats why first thing first, we clean house and get rid of Spielman and Zimmer. Then just pray Trey Lance drops to wherever we are picking. Im desperate, I dont need the sure thing with Trevor (even though I would love that haha), give me the raw dynamic guy with the crazy potential. So even if he flames out, I would have at least a year or two convincing myself we may just finally have our franchise QB.

QBs in Minny is a very touchy subject for me haha. I dont want to draft another guy late 1st round who is supposed to be high floor low ceiling, non dynamic QB. The Christian Ponder, Teddy Checkdown kind of QB. Give me a Justin Herbert, Josh Allen, raw guy but with all the physical tools you could ask for.

I thought this was a new thread and was reading it thinking "The Chargers may be bad but I don't think they'll take a QB" then I look at the date of the thread/post.
