Pains me to say it, but this is Russell Wilson's year. Mahomes wont be too far behind though.

Rodgers is making a strong case himself.

So far he's played 4 of the worst defenses in the NFL. I think his numbers will regress a bit later in the season. Plus I don't think he'll have to do as much with that running game and defense. Wilson on the other hand has no choice but to air it out because that defense sure as hell isn't getting any stops.

Wilson has played Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta, all three of which are in the bottom 5 of yards allowed with his own team Seattle, and Minnesota rounding out the bottom 5. New Orleans, by yards allowed, has been better than New England over the first four. It's fair if you want to say the defenses haven't been great for Rodgers, I've got no problem with it, but let's not act like Wilson hasn't also played against cupcake opponents.
I think it's ultimately a race that comes down to Wilson and Rodgers this year, and it'll hinge upon final records. As good as Allen has been, I don't think he has the counting numbers with TDs relative to INTs by year end.

Yeah, that's a totally fair argument. NE is really the only good test he's had so far & he threw 5 TD's against them. For me it's Rodgers (1.A) & Wilson (1.B) at the moment. But it's still early. Mahomes can absolutely go off & change things.
PFF has Rodgers graded (96) just slightly above Wilson (95). Allen (87) & Mahomes (82).

If that's the case, then Rodgers will have an edge based on each division. I don't think it will.

Now that Ass Chin is gone, Watson will start to tear the league up and overtake all those guys, especially when he has such a valuable target in Hopki....errrrrr.......nevermind.
Carry on.

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

It's not? You'd cast your final vote for MVP after a quarter of the season?

There may be other candidates though....needed some placeholder votes..if you change # of options it resets. You never know, the Chargers may finish 12-4 with Justin Herbert as the MVP.

better poll at this point might be - is there any chance a non-qb wins the mvp this year?

Too early to say at this time, but most of the deserving names to this point are on the list.

Don't you get the feeling Aaron Rodgers is on a laser focused mission this year?

if drafting the qb was just a motivational ploy, it was a brilliant move because it seems to be working out

Are you an Astros fan? Just saw they are the 2nd team ever to force a game 7 after being behind 3-0...I suppose the other is the Red Sox against the Yankees.
Last I checked, the Braves were also up on the Dodgers 2-0 and now I see it's Dodgers 3-2.
