This I never understood. Kenny is big enough to go up and get anything, but it seems they never trusted him with that. 4 seasons in the league and the most he ever saw was 119 targets. I'm by no means saying hes nearly as good as guys like Hopkins, Julio, or even Mike Evans, but sometimes you just gotta target a guy 150-170 times and let him do some of the work to go up and make the catch.

I don't like this money because his injury concerns, but I hope it pans out. Always liked the kid.

The Niners are about to resign K'waun Williams. Its a bit of a surprise as the Chiefs and Jets were apparently looking to sign him.

If you guys don't know who he is, he is sneakily one of the best slot DBs in the league. Having him, Jason Verrett, and Emmanuel Mosely gives them a pretty solid set of CBs, meaning they don't necessarily need to go after a starting CB at pick #12.

It might be a good idea to get a potentially elite DB at #12 anyway due to DJ Metcalf, Deandre Hopkins, and the Rams charged up passing attack with Stafford at QB, but they have a bit more wiggle room now to take a luxury pick in the first round (like Kyle Pitts, which would be insane on the other side of the field from George Kittle in a two TE set).

They re-signed Trent Williams. This move is for a QB. You don't trade that much for anything other than a QB. Both Trevor Lawrence & Wilson will be off the board, so who do the Niners plan on taking??
