Bold Predictions.

With an extra game this year added to the schedule, one of my bold predictions for this year is Pat Mahomes will break the all time passing TD's for a season of 55 TD's. :wizard:

what's the over/under on the number of season records that get broken this year because of the extra game?

could be a lot more if some players have exceptional years but i'm thinking these could be in play from just normal play
total offense
extra points made/attempted
solo tackles seems doable since you'd only need to average a little over 9 a game but no one has come close to approaching it in years

Here are mine:

- Chargers win the AFC West
- Saints are one of the worst teams this season and Sean Payton steps down after the season
- Giants win the NFC East
- First coach fired is Kingsbury (not really a bold prediction lol)

I think it's possible. I know it's pre season but he looked really good yesterday. Nagy is just a horrible HC / play caller and the AFC East is kind of wide open this year IMO (if Allen goes down, otherwise Bills obviously the favorite)

The Bills as a team are stacked. Mitch is a decent backup. He took the Bears to the playoffs not that long ago.

there will be at least one game cancelled/forfeited due to covid (after none last year)
unfortunately there will be a major injury in week 17, that has playoff implications, and people will call for the extra week to go away
one of offensive roy or mvp will be won by a non-qb
zach wilson is good and ends the jets 10 year playoff drought
no coaches will be fired during the regular season
there will be a 99-yard td pass
someone will set the nfl record for safeties in a season with 3

I had Murray as my MVP at the start of the season. I was tooting his horn last season too before he went down with the shoulder injury. He's just impossible to scheme for. That being said, my biggest concern about the Cards was their defense but through 4 games they've proven me wrong. Still think the Bucs are the top dog in the NFC.

Pretty crazy how fast things change in the NFL. I thought Kliff would be one of the first coaches to get fired based on the end of last season and the **** they were doing in the preseason.
