Lamar Jackson will break football

I just read that Lamar Jackson just received his first roughing the passer call in 620 drop-backs. How can that be true?!

Lamar Jackson will break football because of the protect the QB rules. So basically gale sayers playing QB with an ever improving arm that is protected. The protect the QB rules were not made for his kind of skill set. Think of what this does to the defense. Every drop back they have to tackle (very soft and lovingly) that guy who just jukes until the receiver gets open or he takes off and then you still have to make sure you don’t harass him…If the refs call the game by the rule book how does he not dominate? He can fake like he is going to slide or down as a juke!!!

To give a realGM spin to this, Lamar insisted he was a QB in the talks of changing his position. Possibly coincidence but did he understand these rules make him Tecmo Bowl Bo? Did the Ravens? Look at what has happened at the position, The dual threat QB is the prototype.

I do realize making defenders look silly can bring risk and maybe that is natural balance,

I'm here for it. Honestly, Lamar does get heckled at times and doesn't get the calls other guys would like Mahommes, in my un bias opinion. I think tis the year

I still can’t believe Steelers didn’t draft him. Jackson is mvp this year IMO so far
