Wow I feel like this is Rams going for it all now and Broncos hanging it up which is not what you should see from a 4-4 team who is just 1 game out of division lead.

I’ll wait and see how he performs with a D line that has Donald and Floyd on it. But I feel like Von is mostly name recognition now.

This is a very good deal for Denver. They get two day 2 picks for a guy on an expiring contract and may very well be washed.

Sure, let's say Von is not the 1st option. But is Von a 2nd option? How about a 3rd?
If a coach game plans and puts all his resources to stop Donald. Then a secondary plan to stop Floyd. Von then showing up will absolutely MOP UP the 3rd plan an offense has. Someone has to got to go 1v1. Von will win that battle, if you send Donald and Floyd alongside him.

I agree it's just not good for them THIS YEAR. That's why I said this deal feels like Rams are going all in now while Denver is throwing in the towel this season.
