2022 Realgm Fantasy League
Jack and I have been in discussion throughout the year so far regarding the Fantasy league he set up a few years ago. We would love imput from all 10 owners when you get a chance regarding making possible changes for next year. Do we want to make it a money league for next year, comes up? Keep it a 10 team league, 8 or 12? What possible setting changes would you all like to see? 1/2 ppr. full ppr, 2 QB, extra flex, or something else on your minds?

12 team league
1 or 2QB
$25-$50 buy in (we can discuss payouts)
Standard settings full ppr
FAAB waiver system
Only two IR slots moving forward
Keeper league?

Re: 2022 Realgm Fantasy League
Would prefer to keep it at 10 teams (Max).
10 team- 1QB. Fine with current 2QB/OP option.
Prefer .5 PPR over Full.
Not a fan of Keepers. Don't love the idea.
A buy in would have to be somewhat low. Maybe a $20-$25 starting point. $50 max.

Re: 2022 Realgm Fantasy League
Love to keep it a 10 team league.
Go back to 1 QB.
Don't mind the extra flex however. Keep it if everyone is in agreement.
I'm fine with either .5 or full ppr, but full ppr gives huge advantage to top RB's.
Love going to a money league. A $50.00 buy in is like paying $2.94 a week for 17 weeks to put in a line up.
Not a fan at all on keeper leagues. Most people I've been playing with throughout the years prefer to start out with a new, fresh team every year. Plus in a keeper league, if anyone should decide to not come back the next season, it causes a cluster phuck.

Re: 2022 Realgm Fantasy League
I'm not a fan at all of a keeper league. It makes the draft boring and for me; I love draft season.
I would prefer a 12 team league and I like the 2 QB model but 1 QB works also.
.5 PPR
As far as a buy in, I'm down with whatever you guys want. I guess the major thing is that people actually set their lineups and care about the league.
I appreciate you guys doing this by the way. I'm only in 2 leagues - my 'main' IRL league and this one so it does mean something to me

12 team/2QB doesn't really work imo. Most teams would carry an extra QB (3), which doesn't leave a ton of wiggle room in the case of an injury. That's why we made the change from 12 to 10 teams this year.
If people prefer to have 12, then I highly recommend that we go with just 1QB.

If people prefer having 12, then 1QB makes the most sense.
Ahhh gotcha. That makes sense. Well in that case, I really have no preference of 12 v 10 or 2 QB v 1 QB

I’m not proposing that we keep all our guys year to year. Just 1 or 2, rest would go back into the draft pool.

After 5 years, its so refreshing to finally see a fellow manager show his true colors in the this league on how he really feels about everyone.

Re: 2022 Realgm Fantasy League
Sorry but this is BS. The fact I can’t drop a QB and am going to have to stick with Kyler when he’s injured is ridiculous. I’m formally filing a motion if I lose this week bc of it

I'm in 6 leagues and have run into similar problems all year.
That's the good thing about the OP position. These days the other skill positions often score more than QBs anyway.

I’m thankful Cactus resolved it. My bad for being a drama queen

Re: 2022 Realgm Fantasy League
I prefer the option of 2 QBs after playing standard leagues for so long and then as time progressed and rules changes in the NFL, there were way more really good QBs, so with 1 QB leagues everyone gets a great one.
BUT, the good thing about the OP position is that you don't have to play a QB there...a WR or RB is usually projected to get about as much as most 2nd QBs anyway, and if you took two great ones you sacrifice depth at other skill positions.
I like deep rosters too because it makes it more strategic and competitive. Standard 10 team leagues are always stacked throughout I never did 10 team leagues back when I did standard leagues.
I used to do money leagues all the time with $200 buy in....12 team, 6 made playoffs (top two got byes) and the 6 that made playoffs don't lose their money..the pool ended up being the $1,200 from the people who didn't make it. I set it up that way so there was tons of incentive for everyone to set lineups if not just to keep their $200.
I think winner got $800 and 2nd $400 or maybe we gave a portion to whoever scored the most total points throughout the season (but may have gotten unlucky due to matchups).
A $25 or $50 buy in is so little money that it doesn't change how much I care and almost seems like more of a hassle. Though I don't really care either way in that respect.
I used to always do standard and not PPR but changed a couple years back but now kind of think that changes things too much. I think .5 PPR actually makes more sense.

I'll be honest. I'm in wayyyy too many paid leagues lol. I'm trying to drop a few leagues this offseason because I haven't enjoyed as much lately. I probably wouldn't be in for a paid league just because then I have to commit too much time to it

Or you know the competition in this league is far better than your other leagues and you won't make out with the bank as easy.
