Flores is a bit of a shocker. Someone will scoop him up.

Nagy and Zimmer I expected. Flores I did not.

You don't want to know the things I'd do to get him on the Jags.

Apparently he's the one Baalke wants
Would be the most Jags thing to do
At the very least, we're not being linked to Dabo Swinney, that would truly be the worst timeline.

I’m never one to cheer as someone loses their job. But this is probably the happiest I’ve been as a Vikings fan since the Minneapolis Miracle.
Hopefully we bring in a young offensive coach that can bring something new to this offense.

So does this squash all the Watson to Miami rumors? Flores seemed to be the biggest advocate.

Apparently, a lot of guys don't want to coach for us
Cause nobody wants to work with Baalke, who we're apparently very insistent on keeping around
The only person who wants to work with Baalke is, to no surprise, Bill O'Brien. Who in his career went 10-2 against the Jags, and 42-46 against every other team
It's gonna be such a toxic environment between him and Baalke.

Why is every Patriot assistant a disaster as a head coach?

We're in a weird spot where we're apparently letting who we hire as a coach determine who our GM will be. While we already have a GM. Who's going to very strongly try and get someone hired as a coach who wants him to stick around. Which is the stupidest way we could've done it, but that's the Jags for you
Apparently, Byron is a fan of Adrian Wilson for GM. It'd be a risk to hire a rookie coach and GM at the same time, but I'd rather that than keep Baalke and have him hire BoB as a coach.

That list is pretty uninspiring tbh. I don't think there are a ton of great candidates this year. A bunch of the same retread names. Then guys like Kellen Moore & Leftwich who benefit greatly with the roster around them at the moment. Both would be mistake hires imho. I do find it fascinating that a guy like Bieniemy has yet to land somewhere. But given his past it's understandable.

Yeah, I think who we hire at OC (especially if we go Leftwich or one of the OCs) is going to be very important
Even if he were great, I don't think being a great OC makes you necessarily a good HC, or even that your offense will be good as a HC, same with DCs
Personally, I'm a fan of whoever gets Baalke out the door, but I'd put Pederson and Flores as my top guys. They both have flaws, but they can coach. Good OCs like Daboll, Bieniemy, or Moore aren't too far down either, but really after Pederson/Flores, it's much more of a gamble
Hell, I might even take Bevell back if it meant Baalke being gone.

Bieniemy is probably the best OC candidate. Flores would make a better DC than head coach imo. Apparently he clashed with the GM. Had issues with the OC. None of the other names really excite me. Doug Pederson would be an okay hire. But he also ran into problems in Philly when the roster got worse over time. Harbaugh should stay in college.

Kellen Moore? Sorry, he's not HC material. He looks like a child on the sideline. I don't seeing him inspiring a locker room.

(Flores wasn’t a disaster imo ). 1) they didn’t have Brady 2) they try to be like belichick in their new stops and fail miserably since they are trying to be someone they aren’t
