Bears fan here. You pretty much summer it up. Mack's 1st season here he was very good. But that was 4 years ago. He really hasn't done much of anything the last 3. To get out of that contract AND get a 2nd round pick from the deal is a huge win imo.

Yeah, he's on the decline but they didn't give up much. He did had 6 sacks in 7 games last year so that's an 11-12 sack pace, and I think it helps Bosa a lot and vice versa.

I think part of the reason they got him is his leadership. They have quite a few young guys in their front 7.

Chargers were already a soft team. They just got softer.

If the Chargers get the Beast from Georgia. They'll be set for years up front defensively We shall see, Chargers are all about hope with their fan base

Oh please. Chargers almost always look good on paper. I don't care if you draft an all star team and put them on the roster. They will always find a way to lose and choke away 4-5 games every year. We've seen it for almost a decade now. They are beyond soft. They are so soft that none of them could get it up in a room full of hookers. And to top it all off, they now have a bone head for a coach. Look at their history. Only 1 Super Bowl appearance in their whole history and they got waxed in that one. Their fans and community love their team so much they let them go to L.A. over stadium issues. Must be a nice feeling going to what they call a home game only to find that the road team always has more fans in the stands.
