From Watsons standpoint id be wanting to go to Tampa, Minnesota, Colts or Pitt. (excluding Tampa) the other 3 teams all were 8-9 wins with pedestrian QB play, all of those teams have some really good weapons already in place as well. Add Watson and you are talking about a really serious team.

Personally rooting for Minnesota. As much as id like Watson to stay in the AFC, Watson with Jefferson/Theilen/Cook would be great for football and bring some life to the NFC north.

The league very likely will still discipline him at some point. So he'll miss some time.

But with him gone, the best QB in the AFC South is arguably Davis Mills right now. At least until Trevor develops a bit. It's like the inverse AFC West, all our QBs suck.

But I don't see Watson turning Falcons and Panthers into contenders. He could boost Saints and Browns as top contenders if he has all-pro season.

From what I've seen, a few beat writers have said Watson is going to dictate where he wants to go. Houston probably wont accept the best offer if Watson doesn't want to waive his no trade clause for that said team. They also think it's unlikely he goes to a team out in the AFC. So it's likely a NFC South team.

Crazy that the NFC South went from potentially being one of the worst divisions for 2022 to potentially looking decent/competitive again.

I saw Rapoport saying Saints and Panther's offers are the only ones with 3 FRPs and I like that. I prefer the Panther's offer but Deshaun is meeting Atlanta today too. Browns could be a sleeper team too with the Baker goodbye letter yesterday

OK they better be damn sure Watson is the missing piece for the SB.

I can see it with the Saints, assuming Thomas comes back and is all pro level again.

Maybe the Browns too.

Don't see the Panthers or Falcons being SB contenders because of Watson.


Especially if they have to give up more assets than 3 FRPs, which will basically make the SB windows for these teams really short.

I would like to ask a stupid question. Why did the Texans have to trade him in the first place?

Giving Watson that much money after he missed a year is a huge gamble IMO. I'd also be weary of what he is doing off the field. Hope he learned to behave in the massage room.
