that's fine, they needed to do something to lower his cap number. cousins is a good qb and you could do a lot worse (and the vikings have - the stability at least has been nice, despite all the gnashing of teeth, after a revolving door for a number of years)
this year is probably going to be a transition year with the new regime anyway. i'd prefer not tanking, and for better or worse, kirk will always keep you in the game
