The best player in the draft is Ikem Ekwono from North Carolina State.

I wont lie, I am actually confused on why Jordan Davis isnt considered to be a lock for a top 5 pick. The guy was elite in college and is a physical freak.

Considered a two down DT. Great against the run. But doesn't provide much pass rush upside. Teams want guys who will get after the QB. That's why Edge rushers are a premium. Davis doesn't really fit that description. Still a good player. Just won't go in the top 10 for that reason alone. Some prefer Devonte Wyatt over him.

Very true. Well I will be a very very happy camper if he's still there and Minny takes him.

One thing I am enjoying about this draft buildup is how there are so few consensus options - makes the speculation more fun, can make draft day more interesting, and seems like it promises to be a solidly deep class, even if there may not be a lot of "generational talent" assessments being tossed around.

I don't get why Thibs is dropping like a rock in the mocks. Most seem to now have him between 5-10...

Also, I'm taking Stingley above Sauce no questions asked.

Stingley had an all time year in 2019. LSU has been in turmoil the past couple of years and he's been injured. I'm not holding that against him.

Nothing against Sauce but Stinger has Ramsey potential IMO. Sauce is more like Cromartie-Rogers potential?

I like Stingley. But you can't just ignore the injuries. Stingley has played just 10 games in the past two years. He hasn't graded out that well either since. So he's essentially had just one good year.

Would I take him over Sauce? No. Sauce has shutdown CB potential as well. He's more of a sure thing to me. While I still have questions about Stingley.

True but that one good year was an arguable GOAT year...especially for a freshman. I'm not going to pretend like I know how to analyze CB's but I'm getting Deion vibes from Stinger...

Ya give me Stingley as the #1 DB. Highest ceiling for this group, when healthy the dude was ridiculous.

I'm honestly surprised Jack is not on board. This is the ideal CB for the 'Hawks.

I'm hearing that he could last until the middle of the 1st.

The teams that play more man coverage might lean towards Stingley.

Sauce is more of a fit for what Saleh & the Jets do. So I could see them taking him as early as the 4th pick. He's also the Pete Carroll prototype for a CB. I know that he's high on their board.

Spoiler: I want them to prioritize the o-line. I'm tired of the team & that position being a punchline.

I also think Stingley is a little overrated.

With all due respect Jack, I think you're wrong on this and Stinger is going to make your team VERY HAPPY.

Cross between Deion + Patrick Peterson (Johnson for those in the know)

Again, good player. But there are times where he has struggled. Go watch the film with Devonta Smith. He's not the perfect CB prospect that some are making him out to be. He has very good technique. Great cover skills. Should be good at the next level. But with the injuries mixed in, he's not a slam dunk.

Sauce Gardner is a bigger, longer guy. Who can excel in press. Play in zone. He's versatile. A lot to like. Go watch his film.
