Long term move???

You trade away Quinn then Smith, which to me showed they were waiving the white flag for the season. So giving up a 2nd for Chase seems weird. Im a fan of Chase and think he was underutilized, but just seems weird for the Bears to jump in and give a 2nd.

Neither Quinn nor Smith were helping Justin Fields look any better. If Justin Fields fails, the GM and Coach both probably lose their job.

Claypool has the catch radius to haul in any off target Fields throw and the body control to win 50/50 balls.
