Aaron Rodgers only counting 15.8m and 32.5m against the cap to whatever team he goes to. Packers getting hit with a 40.3m dead cap charge. Whoever signs him will contend.

Rodgers wouldn't want to play for the Saints, that's the biggest issue. He wants a team that can win it all.

It is, basically Rodgers has been discount double check Brett Favre for the last 20 years. I watched every single snap and certainly there was a time when he was the best QB in the league, but his unwillingness to take chances means in big games vs good teams he got shut down sometimes. Without the mobility now his game is not nearly as dynamic and if the jets dont protect him its gonna be a hard year.

Sounds like Jets want a ton for him citing the Wilson/Stafford deals.

Rodgers is probably better than either of those guys ever were, but big difference of trading for a 32-33 year old QB, and a 39 year old.

Jets should hold firm. Packers either take 1 1st, or lose Rodgers to retirement.
