I don’t think that’s bad value, but it’s not the haul I thought it was gonna be. If they’re going back to 9th, I expected at least 2 future firsts
Sucks to be Indy right now though.

Idk...They got a future 1st, two 2nd rounders & Dj Moore. That's a pretty steep price to pay.

Assuming Houston takes a QB (Young). That leaves Indy choosing between Richardson & Levis. Yeah, I wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now. Unless Anderson falls to them. They're kinda stuck.

Depending on who Carolina take, it's a win-win trade.
DJ is a #1 WR the Bears need. Now Carolina need to use the cap savings from the trade to go out and get another WR and a TE so Young/Stroud have someone to throw too.

I have a feeling Bryce Young won’t be the QB the Panthers are after (neither is Stroud).

Holy hell. The bears fleeced Carolina. DJ Moore is the most underrated WR in the league and will be instantly a top 10 threat.
Love what Ryan pace is doing with this squad. Seals the deal for AR15 at #1

If Carolina are dumb enough to draft Richardson #1 overall...
They want a pro-ready QB. Not a project.

They won't. It's Stroud.

I don't get the "Carolina got fleeced" takes either.
They traded, basically, a 1st + 2nd + 3rd round picks for #1. DJ is great, but WR's are replaceable . They'll probably sign 2 WR's and a TE in free agency.

I think they are all making a mistake except for the Bears. Glad they decided to keep Fields. This QB class is going to turn out to be very disappointing when all is said and done.

I think if you don’t get your #1 guy, you should just move on tbh
Draft BPA and try again next year.

I don't love giving away DJ, but the two 1sts, two 2nds and change was the price I was expecting. If Carolina can add another respectable WR or two in free agency I'll feel a lot better. I don't even think they necessarily need a big-ticket guy, just a couple starting-caliber options a young QB can depend on to be in the right spot and not drop balls.
The willingness to trade back makes some sense, but I'm guessing it's strictly with the Texans. If Carolina views Young and Stroud as equal why not try to squeeze a little value from Houston (Brandin Cooks and a 2nd)?
If this is all for Richardson or Levis they're morons, but otherwise it's a gamble I can understand. The NFC South is in shambles and the defense, run game (assuming Foreman returns) and O-line are ready to compete now. It's not the worst time to take a big swing.

Stroud reminds me of Matt Ryan.
