Week 10 Thread

It's sad the NFL can't flex prior to Week 13 (Thursday night games)

The game tonight is a joke.

Game of the week is 9ers @ Jax or Browns or Browns @ Ravens...

Although, I'm interested in Saints & Vikings & Lions @ Chargers....

Sam Howell is #2 in passing yards this season

I’m going to go out on a limb and make a bold prediction: Cowboys will beat the Giants

The haters have it all covered.
If the cowboys lose they will be in heaven
If the cowboys barely win they will laugh at the fans.
If the cowboys win by a big margin they will say big deal it was against nobody and claim cowboy fans think their winning the SB. Even though no one actually says that.

If we lose to the Giants all I will say is at least we didn't lose to the Jets

I still think it's unfair that the Eagles will likely face the Giants with Tyrod Taylor at QB, who is an upgrade over Daniel Jones.

It's nice that they ask Jason Kelce about winning culture with the 1-7 Panthers facing the 2-7 Bears in the background.

This is a complete joke of a primetime matchup. Flex needs to be incorporated going forward.

You are severely underestimating DeVito. He's the next Purdy. Purdy 2.0, some have said.

You are right about Tyrod though. I also unironically think he is better than Daniel Jones

Bryce doesn’t look good but this is the saddest group of receivers / RBs I’ve literally ever seen

Every single team has to play Thursday Night. The good teams and the bad teams. It's not really a "primetime" event.

FWIW at least these two horrible teams have to play each other so we get a close game. That's better than a good team blowing the other team out.

Easily the worst supporting cast. It's just brutal. Bryce has little time behind that line & the receivers don't get open unless it's schemed. No real speed threat. Everything is short & intermediate. Because of a lack of playmakers.

Yeah, I'm just gonna say

1560 yards, 8 TDs, 7 INTs, 62.8 completion%, 75.9 QB Rating, 29 sacks

1821 yards, 8 TDs, 9 INTs, 59.5 completion%, 73.6 QB Rating, 13 sacks

One of those is Bryce Young so far, the other is TLaw's first 8 games, and games 9-16 for TLaw were even worse

It really doesn't help that the Panthers don't have a 1st this year, but to be fair after TLaw's rookie year we only spent 1 top 150 pick on an offensive player, and that was a Center, not weapons. But also to be fair, Travis Etienne missed the entire year and came back the next year and was a legit stud RB

It really is too early to call it on Bryce, I think they just need to clean house in the offseason and splurge on supporting cast for him, even if it seems like an overpay. Get him a real coach, cause I just don't think Reich is that good of a HC, and give him another year or two.

is that an official rule? i suppose it would make sense to even out the impact of the short week

Yes every team must play once on Thursday. It gives every team 1 short week.

It isn't really considered a primetime game but it does give every single team at least one game that is nationally televised.

Thursday Night Football is actually a great thing for fans, pretty much no one would have watched last nights game without it. It spreads that games out and allows for more viewership, and in the end that is the entire purpose of this. All of this is just for our entertainment.

Yeah it's a rule and the Cowboys get an advantage every season because their annual Thursday game is always at home.
