2020: fat weak Michael Jordan rolls into his knee, season ending left ACL and MCL tear.
2021: fat weak Adeniji gets him slammed into the ground spraining his right MCL.
2022: appendix burst.
2023: calf strain, then torn ligament in his throwing wrist.

Volson, Cappa, and Karras have all looked pretty fat/weak/slow this season. I'd say at times Jonah and Brown would fit that description too.QB_Eagles wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:It sure does, he's unfortunately made of glass.

Looks to me like the Bengals need OL who aren't fat and weak.
My brother said the same thing, he said it feels like Andrew Luck all over again.bluejerseyjinx wrote:You would think the Bengals would take better care of their prized possession seeings how Burrow is considered the 2nd best QB on the planet. Bengals O-line was also bad in Burrow's first year when his knee got taken out. Poor guy has been taking a lot of vicious hits in his first 4 years. Hopefully the Bengals will address this because it is starting to look like Andrew Luck, part 2.
Like the other poster mentioned, probably Munoz he spent 13 years with the franchise. 11 time pro bowler, 11 time all pro, and went to 2 super bowls with em.Mr B wrote:Is Joe Burrow also the best player in their franchise’s history? If not who is?

Ken Anderson is held in high regard too, spent 16 seasons with em, won league MVP, and took em to their first super bowl.
Boomer Esiason is also up there, spent 10 seasons with em, won league MVP, and took em to their 2nd super bowl.
So, I don't think Burrow ranks higher than those 3, currently. He has a super bowl appearance and another deep playoff run under his belt but he also has 2 season ending injuries under his belt too.

Damn, that’s a long time between best player ever.

The Bengals just don't get the Cowboys hype where every 5 years there's a new all-time best.
BTW where's surf?
Yup in '88 same year he took the Bengals to the Superbowl. Same with Ken in '81 it was the same year he took the Bengals to the Superbowl too.Mr B wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Like the other poster mentioned, probably Munoz he spent 13 years with the franchise. 11 time pro bowler, 11 time all pro, and went to 2 super bowls with em.Mr B wrote:Is Joe Burrow also the best player in their franchise’s history? Damn Boomer won league MVP? I honestly didn’t remember that.
