It will be interesting to see what he can do with Herbert. I expect he will draft Blake Corum. Harbaugh prefers having a power running game and Ekeler is older and more expensive.

As much as liked his impact at Michigan and his draft stock is all over the place, I would NOT grab him in the first 3 rounds even if they lose Ekeler due to the team salary cap issues. Corum is NO BJ or Gibbs.

There isn’t a Gibbs or Bijan in this draft. It’s a fairly weak RB class. There are not first round RB’s in this class. That doesn’t mean Harbaugh isn’t taking one though. I believe the first thing Harbaugh is going to do is make sure his QB is protected. He will solidify the OL and establish a power running game. He’s done that at every one of his stops. That will help Herbert immensely.

Obviously he will fix the WR and TE positions too but I fully expect him to rebuild the team from the inside out. So they will get their OL, DT, and LB’s. Chargers fans can expect a much different offense than the one Kellen Moore was calling this year.

True but you cannot pass up the next Winslow. Bowers is THAT good. Imagine if the Bengals had drafted Penei Sewell over Chase, whom I wanted to complete the LSU connection, cause he was constantly being sack which ended his season the year prior, they would NOT have reach the SB, trust me on this! Herbert talents would be wasted with a heavy 87% running game that work in Michigan but will not in the pros with any elite RB in today's game including a prime Ekeler.

Playmakers win championships. KC cannot win without Kelce. Chargers will NOT pass up the next Winslow/Kelce to draft another Sewell. Harbaugh is no fool to realize that cause the more playmakers, the better. Ask the 49ers!

Don’t follow college enough to know how good of a blocker Bowers is but having a TE weapon is huge for Harbaugh. Running sets out of 12 or 21 personnel is his bread and butter so running TE routes off of play action will be a big part of the passing game.

Will be interesting to see Harbaugh with a team very different than his 49ers team. He has his QB but there’s lots of holes to fill. SF had poor QB play and bad coaching for years so they had lots of talented guys who needed coaching. All of the sudden the line finally gelled and Harbaugh got the best out of Alex Smith.
