Overpaid. He was injury prone and has a weak noodle arm struggling in games before Terek ends up on the team to catch many 10ish yard passes for double the yardage with ease if not take it to the house. Not mobile in the pocket and seems willing to take hits just to be able to get the pass off. I just do not think it's sustainable and would have tagged him but hopefully he can stay healthy by taking fewer big hits.LAKESHOW wrote:4 year 212 Mil

Hurts is better in every category, including intangibles other than accuracy by a mile, imo.
Yes, Hurts would suffer as Tua accuracy is outstanding when quick timing plays are involved. Only Arod and Burrows are as arm accurate in the NFL, but those two has arm strength. Teams don't need a cannon arm to succeed, but having at least average arm strength is needed in the NFL. That's why I would have tagged him, which they still had available to them if it does come to that. If he holds out or leaves, Skylar Thompson is a very mobile quarterback who rushed for 1,087 total yards and 26 tds on the ground in Kansas St. He was drafted just ahead of Brock Purdy and has many of the same traits as him, running the same exact system as the 49ers.LAKESHOW wrote:WentzerWuver wrote:Overpaid. Well I think you just answered the question. Place Hurts in a precision timing rhythm offense. You just said that Tuas accuracy is better. So in that system of offense. Hurts cannot perform to Tuas level.
The Dolphins made the right decision
