The vibe this year really is different. No Cowboys Super Bowl hype.

I guess Cowboy Nation has finally woke up to all things Jerry and see the writing on the wall. If Dak is resigned I can see many more bailing next year. Signing Dak for another 2-4 years would be the final nail in the coffin, at least for me and a few other Cowboy fans I know. Cowboy fans will never get excited about Super Bowl talk when Dak is your QB moving forward. Dak is nothing but a buzz kill and I believe cleaning house and starting over is the way to go. That includes a new coach and a real GM or things will never change.

That will come when they start winning games and everyone forgets about the season before. Finish 12-5 but lose in the first round. Rinse and repeat.

That said I don't think we were ever Super favorites last season, just "playoff win" favorites.

Bro, If I'm a die hard Raiders fan why on earth would I pick/root for the Chiefs?

In what multiverse? None. Ravens by 3 points on a last second FG.

It's his daily therapy session. Got to bring up the Cowboys.

I'm honestly kind of tired of talking about them. We know how this story ends.

Looking at the schedule, we got any predictions?

I see the Hawks winning pretty comfortably.

Rams/Lions is a coin toss.

There are at least 8 interesting match ups this week. Will be hard to gauge things the first 2 or 3 weeks till we see things shake out a bit as preseason was very vanilla and we have yet to see so many stars play yet. No betting for me till at least week 3. However I can see Sean Peyton and Bo Nix coming in and giving the Seahawks all they can handle. I can also see the Jets upsetting the Whiners on Monday night. Cowboys, who cares but I see that game being very low scoring. The Colts/Texans game is also interesting to me. Colts will be a tough out this year if they can remain somewhat healthy this season. There are a handful of teams I'm not sure about yet. Like I said, preseason was very vanilla. Only safe play I see this weekend is the Bengals over the Patriots when it comes to placing any bets. I will say this though. I do fully expect the Patriots, Panthers, Saints and Raiders to be in the top 5 in the next NFL draft.

As long as you have Geno as your QB we all know how your season will end. Like with Dak, you can only go so far with Geno regardless of how well you have done on both sides of the ball the past 2 years.

Rookie QB's have not fared well against Mike Macdonald. He's going to throw a lot at Nix. Not a good matchup for Denver imo. On the road in a tough environment.

I hope you are not trying to say MacDonald is a better coach than Peyton and Geno will out shine Bo nix. :ouch:

It will remain close if the Hawks offense completely **** the bed. Otherwise, they should win fairly easily.

Yes, that's kind of what I am saying.

I'm really excited to see what Macdonald cooks up.

MacDonald is an unknown, we know what Sean Peyton can dial up and has the resume to prove it.

He's an unknown as a head coach. But he's a really good defensive mind who will also call the defense. I'm looking forward to seeing how he calls the game on Sunday from a defensive mindset. If you watched the Ravens defense at all last year, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's a complete 180 from Carroll & his defense. As far as complexity. That's why fans here are excited.
