Re: Best WR's Right Now?
Why is AJ Brown on this list? His teammate in college is a better receiver than him.

I almost and probably should have put your boy Metcalf on there. Actually I wanted to list 12 but we are only allowed 10 options in a poll.

Re: Best WR's Right Now?
I think right now it’s the two LSU guys on their own tier then a gap to the next guys.
I’m 100% biased and I say Jefferson, but I totally get the argument if someone says Chase. But outside of that I don’t get the argument for anyone else.
Beyond those two, I probably have Puka 3rd then Lamb 4th.

It's Chase and I can't see how anyone else is even in the discussion. Leads in both yardage and TDs and by a good margin too.
The only argument I can see against him is that he is in a situation where the Bengals defense is straight garbage so they are forced to throw to him a ton.

I think there are 2 things to this.
1. Is the question who’s the best WR right now? Or who is having the best season for a WR? If it’s the 2nd one, then I agree Chase is the only answer. But if it’s who’s currently the best WR, then I think you have to take into account more than just this year’s stats.
2. And ya I do think you have to take into account the amount of passing that Cincinnati does. For comparison, Burrow has 104 more passing attempts than Darnold (in using Darnold because I think Jefferson is on the same tier as Chase). And to put that into perspective, that’s about 3 games worth of pass attempts for Darnold (averages just under 30 attempts per game).
Again as I said before, I can’t really argue if someone has Chase at #1, I think him and Jefferson are on their own tier. But ya where comparing the stats of the two, I do think the amount of passes in the Bengals offense should be factor in.

Re: Best WR's Right Now?
Nico Collins is the best current blend of possession + deep play threat in the game. I would take him over anyone

I made the thread a poll. You didn't vote for Nico.

Re: Best WR's Right Now?
Puka is too injury prone. Maybe if he learns how to not take a hit but I don't trust him one bit.

Nico has yet to play a full season in his 4 seasons. He has been placed on the IR in 3 of his 4 seasons.
Puka played all 17 games last year and has played in as many games as Nico this year.
I refuse to believe your Nico pick is an actual pick and not one of your over the top sarcastic posts haha

Re: Best WR's Right Now?
i had to look up who nico collins was, and the sad part is that the vikings have already played the texans this year
and the vikings game against the rams this year was the first i'd heard of puca. he's only been in the league 1.5 years and he's in contention for the best in the league already?

Re: Best WR's Right Now?
Like I said, I only had 10 options. If Diggs wasn't hurt I would have put him on the list. Same with Hopkins. Metcalf in Seattle is another favorite of mine but is having a down year, I think he has been banged up most of the year. Aiyuk is also out and Deebo is a shell of himself and most are saying he won't even be with the Niners next year. Pickens is an awesome talent but who knows what is going on with him. Sutton is another WR I really like but he has a very young QB and plays in a tough system that doesn't give him a chance to shine. And what about Devonte Adams. Do we still consider him a top 10 WR?

Metcalf isn’t the primary target. That's why his numbers are down. JSN has become that guy in this offense. They target more middle of the field.
