Former NFL WR Antonio Brown Arrested After Firing his Gun Into Crowd While Being Robbed

Post#1 » by Castle Black » Sat May 17, 2025 6:24 am

Wild situation unfolding right now with Antonio Brown at a Boxing Party in Miami. Looks like he was jumped by a group of people that were reportedly trying to snatch his chain. He went and got his firearm afterwards and came and chased down the assailants and fired at least two shots at them.

I fear for younger generations. The fact that people have normalized filming absolutely everything even when things are chaotic or even when their life could be unintentionally at risk is insane to me.

I suspect he’ll only get a slap on the wrist. Pro athletes can do whatever they want in this country. A normal person would be guaranteed to spend at least a few years in prison for this.

If I were wealthy and famous, I would carry nothing of material value on me. No cash, no jewelry, I'd have a generic phone and drive an average car. You're already going to be a target, why make yourself into even more of a target?

Florida has a stand your ground law so his idiocy probably wont cause him jail time.

So glad I never had a Y or Z kid. 85% of them have shrimp & grits for brains. Just offensively stupid and crass.

To Antonio Brown’s credit though I thought he would’ve done far more moronic things in public than he has. Outside of being a remarkable football player he always seemed to be at a monumental mental disadvantage.

If you’re lumping in Millenials and Gen Z, pretty much everyone between 13 and 45, I’m going to assume it’s because you’re a part of the lead generation.

Stand your ground when you’re attacked. Not when you go get a gun and chase people down to shoot them. It is definitely going to be jail time

This won't be good for his prospective NASCAR career.

This guy is one of the biggest wastes of God-given talent I've seen in my lifetime.

It's his fault he thought it was more important to carry his chain than his gun.

Should have dealt with it then and there. Pretty hard to argue self-defense when you had time to run back and get your gun

He had a pretty successful NFL career not sure he should be classified as a waste of talent. Zion is a waste of talent. AB is a waste of a human being there is a difference

That's true.

I feel like his career ended early though because of his own stupidity. He had like 1300 yards and 15 or 16 TDs in his last season with the Steelers then he just fell off the map. He did have a great career though.

This is actually pretty likely.
