Power Rankings

Everyone post your current power rankings. Should be an interesting to look back on this in 3 months to see what happened...

I'm only listing top 10:

1. Eagles - Most balanced team even though the defense looks shaky at times

2. Chiefs - Look like a completely different offense now that Worthy is back and Rice isn't even back yet...running game still a huge question mark

3. Lions - Could argue them 1 or 2 but I have them 3 because of Goff

4. Bills - I don't trust the defense but have to be top 5 because of Allen

5. Bucs - They are in every game. Offensive line is finally getting healthy. Bucky Irving may be the second best back in the league present day

6. Chargers - Could move higher once line gets healthy...arguably the most balanced team after the Eagles.

7. Seahawks - Elite defense and elite playmakers. That week 2 domination of Pittsburgh looks very good now IMO

8. Rams - Secondary is awful otherwise I'd have them higher

9. Ravens - Leaving them as a placeholder here...possible they turn it around.

10. Packers - Team with the most upside. No real weaknesses

Hard to argue with any of that at this point, maybe the Bills at 2 but that's about it. The AFC outside like 3 teams kinda sucks tbh.

JSN is starting to show everyone that he's a legit #1 receiver in this league. But Kupp is more a move the chains type at this stage. Their receivers are kind of meh beyond that. Walker is a jitterbug but is also a frustrating player at times. Partly because the offensive line has been just passable as a run blocking unit. They're at their best when Darnold is playing point guard & not trying to do too much.

But yeah, the defense is very good. They're currently the #2 scoring defense behind Houston. By leaning on it, that's how they're going to win games.

I still would have the Rams ranked ahead of them within the division.

This seems rather reactionary to me. Worthy was available every single game last season and their offense was sluggish, lagging, very boring and bang average. I'm not hanging my hat on 37 points against what appears to be the worst defense in the NFL.

Then again, I have no idea who else would have to be at #2, because the Bills aren't exactly blowing me away either despite going 4-0.

They don't belong. The defense is really poor (dead last). Until they get that figured out, they're not a contender.

This feels like a lost season for the Ravens. Lamar is hobbled, Henry is starting to show signs of age, Ronnie Staley is hurt, their star DT Madubuike is out for the season, Roquan Smith is going to miss time, and their secondary is going to be without two of their best players in Humprey and Wiggins. There is no way that's a top 10 team, just off the top of my head I'd take Broncos and Colts over them.

How about that week 1 domination? :D :D

Yeah Ravens has no business in top 10, I bet they call it a season in few weeks and start resting Lamar. Chiefs might have played like number 2 but they dont belong 2nd. I probably disagree with all of it except for number 1 but everyone got their own list.

Geez, why aren't we all surprised. Humm. He's doing the best he can.

Turk is upset about his Niners not making the list.

No Bosa likely spells trouble for them.

Btw Purdy has thrown 8 picks in his last 5 games. He's been on a decline since last season.

I have already put in my super bowl prop bets 3 weeks ago. I have either the Chiefs or Chargers winning the AFC and I have either the Lions or Rams winning the NFC. So I only have a 4 team power ranking:

1) Kansas City Chiefs
2) Detroit Lions
3) Los Angeles Rams
4) Los Angeles Chargers (Injuries to O-line this past week may have killed this ticket).

Seattle is winless at home against Niners last 5 years, how about that for a trend

I called it last year when everyone thought Lions were a lock for super bowl, I am calling it again, they will not make it with Dan Campbell. Just about every year he makes a bone headed decision that shoots them on the foot.

Chargers-Bills is clear as day for AFC barring injuries. Eagles are an easy pick for NFC.

I'm just confused is all. I was told Purdy was "great." But he's turning the ball over at an alarming rate.

Purdy played so well down the stretch last season, that he lost to Geno of all people at home. Yeah, not a great trend.

He is 8-1 against Seattle with only loss coming while playing with a skeleton crew, yeah I am loving that trend personally

The so-called vaunted Seattle defense acts like they're seeing ghosts when facing ol' Purdy. :)

Knowing what we know now about the Ravens, the Bills are impossible to properly rank. They haven't played a singular team worthy of note. That schedule is a gift from the heavens in September and October, but come December and January you kind of want to know what your team is worth against top competition. These guys could easily be lulled to sleep because they don't face anyone all year, other than the regular Chiefs game, the Bucs and Eagles (which could be useless anyway because both teams might have wrapped up the entire conference by that point).

Playing the Jets and Dolphins every other week isn't going to make you a better team.

How can Eagles be #1 when Hurts doesn't even have 610 passing yards in 4 games. Come on.

The Lions, regardless of Coaching changes, still have strong strong talent. The combination of receiving corp. and that Running back are lethal. So they will put points up on anybody. And with the return of their Defensive End, have good qualities on defense. So these media folks should never count out the Lions
