- so much strategy is involved in the game and i love it when i see new plays in action
- game goes in action much faster than baseball or even basketball games
- scoring a touchdown is much more significant than let's say, scoring a three in basketball so the game is much more difficult and exciting

That's one of the reasons.

Others are

- Its more of a contact sport than basketball and baseball, yet strategies are also involved so thinking on your toes is also part of the game.

- The crossovers and quick steps that running backs, wide recievers and some quarterbacks do to get away from defenders.

- The electricity and excitement of the game is great.

- ESPN has hypnotized me to watch the NFL with its 365 day coverage.

A football game is like a chess match. I like chess, I like football. Whatever the haters say, football is the thinking man's game.

Football is my favorite sport to watch, but 6/10 I would rather play basketball
