I'm seeing a lot of JaMarcus coverage...

I dont think it has much if anything to do with race, imagine if someone projected in the top 5 in basketball dropped to like the 2nd round...

oh yeah! Maciej Lampe... who got ruthless coverage for the next few weeks and relentless hype from the NY media machine... and now he's next to Dustin Diamond and Flava Flav on whatever VH1 reality show is trying to resurrect careers nowadays..

ESPN always goes overboard so this should not be unexpected.

And I'd rather they go overboard than underboard.

It has more to do with him playing at Notre Dame than it does with him being white

ESPN is already tiring because they show the same Sportscenter over and over and over and over and over and over

At least its not more Yankee or Red Sox coverage. Give us Browns fans a break we havent had a positive story revolving around our team in years. If it takes Brady dropping that far and us getting him for us to get some hype then so be it. It could be more Patriots, Colts, or Bears coverage afterall.

Agreed. I'd rather have twice as much BQ coverage than 1 more second of Yankee's crap.

Agreed. ESPN has gone way overboard with the Yankees and Red Sox. For example, I was watching Baseball Tonight and they spent 30 minutes talking about Roger Clemens and brought up the story 3 different times but fail to give highlights for many of the teams(including my Reds which angered me as I sat through 1 grueling hour hoping to see highlights and they never came).

That's because different people have different schedules. I don't think you're supposed to sit there and watch it that many times.

I'm pretty sure that if you are watching sportscenter 3 times in a row you aren't living.

They didn't do it with Aaron Rodgers and he could have been the #1 pick in the draft. Being white is a small part. The All American kid from Notre Dame plays a huge part in it.
