If he's found guilty, an NFL suspension is the last thing on his mind.
I still don't understand the hype around Schaub. He could be a very good QB, but he could just as easily be terrible. He hasn't proven a thing. Everything he has done is as the back up. The only good game in his career was a game against basically the Patriots practice squad defense that had been game planning for Vick all week.
I feel more comfortable with someone who has won games as our back up. But unless our OL is 5x better, it's not going to matter because Vick and maybe Vince Young are the only QBs that could survive a game behind that line.
I'd rather try my luck with Matt Schaub than proven loser Joey Harrington. Actually if I'm the Falcons, I'd put in DJ Shockley. He was fun to watch in college. Maybe he can do the same in the pros.
Your gonna end up with a top 10 pick anyways. Rather try an unproven guy who might prove to be decent than a loser like Harrington.

Joey Harrington is a proven loser in Detroit. Only the best QBs in the league could attempt to make a winner out of Detroit. But I wouldn't mind giving Shockley a chance.

This isn't about innocent until proven guilty for many of us. It is about looking at the evidence against him -- four eyewitnesses who have already agreed to testify, accomplices who very likely will "flip" on Vick -- the main target since he financed the operation -- and the fact that it is a freakin federal indictment.
As RaoulDuke79 pointed out on page one -- nice work, btw -- Vick is in serious **** right now. Based on what I've read today at various places, I really don't see how he is going to get out of this without going to prison.
I'm a betting man, and my money is definitely on him being found guilty with his sentence going well beyond community service, probation, and a short stay in jail. Any suspensions and whatnot from the NFL is pretty much irrelevant at this point.

I wonder if I'm as unknowingly ignorant to other teams as people seem to be towards the Falcons?
Dan Reeves said himself that the Falcons had no intentions to draft LT, that if they didn't make the trade they were looking at Kenyatta Walker. Unless the Chargers drafted Vick themselves, they still would have taken Drew Brees.
Either way, Vick and Crumpler (a Pro Bowl pair) > Brees and Walker.

No your just an Atlanta Homer. Drew Brees is a top 5 NFL QB. Fourth behind Manning, Brady and Palmer.
Anyone who isn't a delusioned Falcon fan would take Brees over Vick and Crumpler combined.
No, you're just an Atlanta hater. Drew Brees is a top 5 NFL QB, though.
Anyone who isn't a delusional Falcon hater would take Vick and Crumpler over Brees. Fortunately for you, this forum has Vick/Falcon haters a plenty so you shouldn't feel too lonely in your corner.
