Since 1984 the Chiefs have had a guy younger than 29 start (and i dont mean as a fill in for a game or two) TWICE.
Elvis Grbac who was 27 and 28 in 1997 and 1998.

I bring this up because i was bored and couldnt think of the last time KC had a young QB starting for them so i looked into it.

Croyle is one injury away from becoming the (young) starting QB. ;)

I think Croyle is the starter by the mid point of the season.

damon huard managed pretty well last season. croyle blows. KC is better off getting a QB in next season's draft.

This will be a down year for KC with the talent in the division. Brady Coyle will be the starter by the end of the year unless somehow KC finds a way to cotend.

And Elvis Grbac played like a 40-year old even back at St. Ignatius HS in Cleveland.

So would that make Todd Blackledge the last real "QB of the Future" this team had? Wow.
