Are you ready for some football?

You can stop counting the days boys. The day is finally near. It's about that time of the year again where there's a sense of optimism in the air.
A clean slate for all 32 NFL Teams and a fighting chance at the Lombardi Trophy. As of now everyone is unbeaten. Perfect zeros across the board. The Raiders and the Colts are equal.
Where last year doesn't count and all that matters is today. What have you done for me lately?
It's time for John Madden and Al Michaels to wake up from their slumber. And hey can Steve Sabol come out and play?
Who wants it more? The Patriots or the Chargers? Matt Hasselbeck or Donovan McNabb?
Who is this year's suprise team? And how many TD's will Peyton throw? Which Randy will show up and which rookie will carry his team?
Is this the farewell year for Favre? Can Cutler, Leinart, Young, Smith take that next step? And which team disappoints?
Is that another RB in Denver? And Reverend Ray is still preaching. Number #85 is still yapping and Shawne Merriman is still lighting people up.
Look at MoJo go. Big Ben is back and Marvin never left.
Oh look the Cowboy girls. Coors Light Ads and look there is Hank Williams Jr.
Fantasy Football, Ron Jaworski and the Boomer.
Harry Kalas, Bob Costas and will the Bears break the curse of the Super Bowl losers?
So strap on the shoulder pads it's time to barricade yourself in the basement or den and tell the family that your Sunday afternoons are booked for the next 17 weeks.
And honey Monday Nights is Guys Night Out.
It was inevitable. This question had to be asked.
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Offensive MVP - I'll go with the generic choice in Peyton Manning here
Defensive MVP - I'm picking a darkhorse here in Demarcus Ware. He had a pretty good year last year, and there's the whole adage about how D-Linemen takes 3 years to fully mature. 71 Tackles and 11.5 Sacks... I think he can improve on those numbers by a lot.
Offensive ROY - Marshawn Lynch by sole virtue of him getting the most opportunities.
Defensive ROY - Patrick Willis. LB's are over-appreciated by press, and I think he's the best Rookie LB.
Coach of the Year - Bill Belichick. Best Team, Best Coach? He's a favorite by far I would believe.
Comeback Player of the Year - Didn't they get rid of this award? Donovan McNabb
Most Improved Player - Vince Young. Gotta be a Homer somewhere...
Biggest Suprise Team - Titans. Okay, maybe just one more. But I think we'll have a pretty good defense this season. I wish Pacman was there, but I think we have a good enough D without him. And Vince Young is just a playmaker, I'm thinking he'll make something happen in offense. And considering most teams are projecting us for 4-5 wins, I think 7-8 wins could be a big surprise
Biggest Disappointment Team - Patriots. Solely because so many people expect the world of them, and even having 11 wins and winning the division could be a disappointment for many experts.
Coaches on the Hot Seat - Tom Coughlin by far. But Jon Gruden's a good bet too.
Best Team in the League - New England Patriots
Worst Team in the League - Miami Dolphins?

bbj I like Oakland(mainly their D), I think their O-line is there and they will be a wilcard spot if Culpepper starts 10+ games. I am doubtful about McCown
