I think this is the second time wiretap did this. Anyway, i called it few weeks back in the leftwich thread. He cant be worse than harrington.

I think just about everyone called this after Leftwich was released.
Good signing by the Falcons though. From what I've seen, even though he's quite possibly one of the slowest QB's alive, he's still a better option than Harrington by miles.

The Bears should have signed him.

You have to love yourself before you can be loved.
on a serious note: good pick up by ATL though. He is the anit-Vick because he is not mobile at all.. but he is an upgrade over Harrington.
oh they wish they still had Shaub..

With Schaub the o-line would have been even worse.

I don't believe so. Harrington is responsible for at least half of the sacks if not more. He's holding on to the ball for far too long. At least Leftwich doesn't play scared. I think he's too slow and injury prone to do much behind our OL, though.
We'll see, though. I think everyone expected this to happen as soon as he was cut. Surprised it took this long.

I didn't say Schaub would be worse, I said the line would be worse due to us not having Blalock.

Bears blew it. Looks like they want a terrible QB forever.
If they only had a decent QB, they'd have a shot at a Super Bowl. In the weak NFC, they can return there but Grossman isn't leading them anywhere.
Good signing for Atlanta but they aren't going anywhere anyway.

Chicago would have won that SB if they had a halfway decent QB other than Gross-man.
