Sunday Night Game

Cowboys and Bears. Dallas is scoring a league high 41 Points a game. Chicago giving up a third-best 11.5 points a game. This should be one hell of a match up.
I'll say this to Dallas fans: If Romo plays well this game, I'll eat my crow regarding what I have said about Romo before.
I don't think this will happen though. Chicago's defense looks absolutely stingy so far this year, and I think they'll do a good job against the Dallas offense. I think the key to this game will fall to whether or not Chicago's special teams can do it again. If Devin Hester can get Chicago good field position (doesn't even have to be a touch-down); If he can start get the offense to around about midfield to start off at, I think we'll see a Chicago victory here. And I think that is exactly what's going to happen.

Monday Night Game

Tennessee and New Orleans. Oh man, this is one match-up I was looking forward to the most this season. Even more than Indy vs. Tennessee. We're finally back on MNF! Woo!
Bookies are giving this game -3 to around -4.5 for the Saints. I'm actually surprised. I thought it would've been at least a push for this game, but I guess our win against Jacksonville and our close game versus Indianapolis means absolutely nothing, and neither does the Saints' two losses. Ah well.
I don't think the Saints have a means of stopping our offense. From what I've seen, the Saints have been terribly susceptible to the run, posting a 18.0% (29th in the league) in Run Defense. I think we've got a huge advantage on the inside, as Olson, Mawae and Bell have shown, they can generate a good push and get to the second level with ease. And with them facing off against Brandon Villarreal and Brandon Young, I think we'll find a lot of success on the inside. IIRC, from what I've seen of the Saints LBs, they're too slow. They won't be able to catch up to Vince at all, and I think Vince will have a field day versus the Saints' D.
In regards to the Passing game, hopefully Brandon Jones fares better this week, after a disappointing game last week, but overall, I don't think we'll see as much of it again, as Chow will likely keep the conservative offense going, as long as it keeps succeeding.
Again, our game is heavily predicated on running the ball, and keeping the Time of Possession in our favor, so if we can keep running the ball down their throats, hopefully we'll be able to keep Drew Brees and the Saints' O on the bench, and not able to get into a rhythm.

Rex Grossman will get severely owned by the Warewolf.

As for Titans/Saints, i think Titans win in an upset. Both former USC backs will have big games though.

Monday night games to me have been dissapointing. Arguably the best teams out there are Indy, NE, San Diego, Chicago and Dallas and none of them have been on monday night. I guess diehards will find interest in the Titans and Saints but i would probably just as soon spend time with the wife.....maybe.

Titans and Saints game is a tough one to decipher..On one hand you have Tennessee who have played above expectations, beating one division rival handily( I know the score was close but TEN dominated the Jags) and they were oh so close to beating the Colts ( although the Colts had some special teams mishaps)......And then you have New Orleans who have looked horrible, not even showing up to the opener vs the Colts and getting beat by one of the worst teams in the league(TB)....This will be a huge test for them,-they're at home, they're on MNF, they're 0-2,- if the Saints don't get fired up and if Payton doesn't do something about that offense, they're DONE...You know Jeff Fisher's teams always come ready to play so if New Orleans doesn't show the passion and confidence they showed last year, there gonna be in big trouble.

thats b/c once MNF went to cable and Al Michaels and John Madden went to NBC Sunday night football became the new Monday Night Football. SNF also gets the option for flex scheduling so they obviously get more attention now than MNF.

Bears are pretty much in a must win situation to avoid falling 2 back of the Packers who look like they are for real.

Let's see what Tony Romo can do against a good defense this week.

I hope the Bears win but I've given up hope. The Cowboys are probably gonna end up winning the division.

Jason Garrett has the killer instinct which the old fart coaches on the Redskins dont.
