SNF usually has the better games, so I'd switch that around.

Pick your poison. Madden creaming himself about Romo, or Madden creaming himself about Favre.

what i expect this week:

the redskins to beat the pack in green bay and gilbert will be in a good mood followed by the pats beating the cowboys and him clamoring and bickering back and forth about who's overrated and why romo aint that great.

this thread might get locked again (though last weeks was sorta my fault)

I'm really excited for the primetime schedule this week:

Boys vs. Pats on Sunday night and my Giants hopefully putting a beatdown on the Falcons on Monday night.

Don't get much betta.

Yup you should definitely tune into NBC at 8:15 for the Cowboys-Pats game. No way you (or anyone else) should miss it.

I just looked at the "experts" picks on yahoo and 2 of the 3 have KC over Cinn. I find that rather interesting.

Titans-Buccaneers game:

This looks to be one of the better games of the week, with the AFC's 3rd-4th best team versus the NFC's 3rd-4th best team. Even with a bunch of whosits and senior citizens on defense, they're putting up one hell of an effort with a -8.1% on DVOA (9th in the league). Tampa Bay had been game-planning for scrambling QBs for years, so they would probably know how to handle Vince and his rushing attack. However, they give up 124 Rushing Yards per game (22nd in the league), so Tennessee should be able to establish a rushing attack, without the need for Vince to run the ball much.
Our game plan should be similar to our game plans from the first 4 weeks. A heavy dose of Lendale White and Chris Brown, with short-to-mid routes, and taking a chance deep once or twice a quarter with someone like Roydell Williams.

As for our defense, I think we'll be able to run roughshod over their offense. Tennessee has been shutting down some of the league's best rushing attacks (72.2 Yards Per Game, 3rd in the league), so taking care of a Buccaneers team with a depleted Running Back corp should be a rather easy task. As for pass defense, Jeff Garcia hasn't really been able to throw deep, and still isn't able to. Nick Harper and Cortland Finnegan has been playing fantastic man-coverage, and facing off against Ike Hilliard and Joey Galloway should be a much easier task than facing off against the likes of Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. Furthermore, Tampa Bay is just around average on the offensive line, with a 6.3% adjusted sack rate. Although Davin Joseph and Jeremy Trueblood look like they're going to be great pros in the league, They will not be able to handle Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch (if they decide to rush him from the right side like they did in the last game). The front 7 for Tennessee plays very physical, and is surprisingly quick, and I doubt the Buccaneers can match up to that.

If Tennessee keeps doing what it does (as in not the Falcons game, but more like the Colts game and the Saints game), the Titans should be able to come out of this week with a Win.

My betting picks for this week.

Picked the underdogs Washington and Tennessse and then with New England to cover the spread.

I can't believe they made the Titans underdog against the Bucs. The Washington pick was completely homer because I think we have a decent chance at winning. Last time I checked the New England/Dallas spread was at 5.5 in favor of NE. I think they can cover it.
