Vikings Brawling after practice

Post#1 » by NeedsMoreCheese » Fri Oct 12, 2007 7:52 am

Things are getting heated in Vikings Land!

Sources tell FOX 9 Sports there was a fight in the Vikings Locker Room Wednesday after the media left the area.

We've been told Erasmus James landed a punch right on the eye of Chester Taylor. Taylor then tried to go back after James, apparently by throwing a chair, but missed James. Taylor noticeably had a shiner today when we were in the locker room.

Childress is aware of the fght and called a team meeting after it happened. Funny, though, James ended up on the injury report today with a shoulder problem. And with his injury he's not getting any full contact in practice, so what is the injury from? Strange timing!

We'll bring you more info as we find out about it.

Sounds like a WWE match, James hit Taylor in the face then Taylor throws a chair at James.

They seem tense, I guess its a bad thing there arent any more party boats. :dontknow:

ehh, not a real big deal, I've had quite a few scraps with friends on the team... it's usually something you get over quick.

Yeah. I heard a Santana Dotson interview where he said Reggie White and Wayne Simmons got into a fight in the locker room. The very next day Santana walked in the locker room and found Wayne and Reggie watching cartoons together and joking around.

If I was Chester Taylor I'd hit Erasmus James with a chair too. What a waste of a first-round pick.

Anyone see that shot of Taylor's eye?? James packs a much better punch in the locker room than he does on the field.

That was a great draft for the Vikings. Two first round picks and they ended up with Troy Williamson and Erasmus James. Spectacular.

Ah yes...Randy Moss continues to have his effect felt on teams to this day.

Also, don't forget the spectacular pick of Kenechi Udeze a while back. Has he recorded a sack yet in his career?

Anyone who makes a Udeze pun just does not watch football. The kid has alot of skills and makes a serious impact. He is one of those guys that is making the QB throw early and feeling rushed. He is also great for tackles behind the line.

If you dont know...you just dont watch.

btw, he has 2 already this season.

Ease up, rev. I mean Udeze did go an entire season as a starting DE without a sack. He was coming off of microfracture surgery, though.

I don't know if PNF was joking or not but Udeze had 6 sacks as a rookie.
