I know the Cardinals needed to make room (for a scrubby backup QB) but damn, a guy who was a third rounder gets waived twice before the halfway point of his rookie season? Thats unusual.

Though they also released Matt Baker from the Practice Squad and didnt sign anyone to it, so maybe they are looking to add him to that?

This is an abject lesson in the absolute meaningless value you should assign to ANY mock draft before about March 1st--including my own. On Sept. 24th last year (I did a mock that day and saved the resources I used) Moses was:
#8 overall on Mel Kiper's Big Board
#2 at DE, #11 overall on condraft.com and #10 in their mock
#10 overall at footballsfuture.com, though in their mock he went 26th
#22 overall on Scouts Inc. top 32
I knew he was falling but still had him headed to the Cowboys at #19, but the preseason mock I did had him #4 overall
Moses showed little burst and no ability to get off blocks, plus no real desire to improve.

Real disappointing as a Georgia fan. He had a great junior year but he was really shown up his entire senior year by Charles Johnson. I feared he probably would be a bust in the NFL, but I didn't expect him to fall off so soon.

He was considered a top 5 pick last year. Fast forward he's been cut twice in his rookie year.
Were the Cardinals trying to convert him into a DE like the Raiders? He might fare well in a situational pass rush role like Mark Anderson or something.

is there something wrong with him that none of us no about?
this is very intriguing that a player can plummet from a potential top 5 pick to being waived twice before he plays 1 game, i am surprised that he fell so quickly.
