What do the Browns do with Brady Quinn?

They can use him against SC. Derek Anderson has done a nice job but he's keeping the seat warm for Quinn, that's life in pro sports. If he continues to play well and they choose to move him they may be able to get something for him.

Well, it's a step above from the complete-crap-at-any-time that Browns fans were used to from the QB position.

the thing that sucks is, they look like they have one of the easiest schedules from here on out.

the only game id say they will definitely lose is the steelers game, but they've proven they can beat the ravens and bengals. they could seriously win 10 games. though they'll probalby be involved a bunch of close games.

At first glance i thought so too but upon further analysis i reconsidered, check out my post from yesterday (i think it was yesterday anyways) in the browns pick thread on the cowboys forum.

They could very realistically win their last 6 games, and also their next two. Probably won't win more than 4 or 5 of them though.

Anderson has played consistently solid QB. He looked pretty good against NE other than the egregious 1st INT--better than Romo did against them. He lit up Baltimore's solid D. He's shown that when he has time to look around he is a very capable starting QB with a monster arm and pretty good accuracy.

My informed guess on his future: Cleveland is going to see what they can get for him, but they'll be more than happy to keep him another year. The Kitna-Palmer analogy is a good one here. The funny thing is that they tried all summer to deal Anderson and got nothing higher than a 6th round offer, and now they're thinking no worse than what ATL got for Schaub (2 2nds)

The age difference between Kitna and Palmer is 6 years, and the difference between Anderson and Quinn is 2 years. Its a decent analogy, but its not perfect.

That, and Brady Quinn is no Carson Palmer (draft position at the very least)

Hang onto him until Brady is ready. Then trade Derek Anderson to the Lions or some other QB desperate team in some trade that will almost absolutley benefit the Browns.

Or trade Brady.

just chiming in. anderson did an absolutely terriffic job against my pats. he consistently moved the ball down the feild against us. im glad for him. he seems to be a good young kid and romeo crennel is a class act. if he could get his olineman to stop pushing lb's into their qb, it would help.....i kid i kid.

if Anderson keeps putting up these types of numbers i can see them easily getting some nice draft picks for him. I mean he is only 24 years old, and in his 3rd year. He is tall, 6'6", he has decent mobility, very strong arm, good accuracy and because of his young age he is only going to get much better. He has a lot of potential.
